Upscale facilities include a comprehensive, state-of-the-art Golf Academy, including Academy Training Facility, Teaching Center and Short Game School staffed by expert golf instructors, comprising over 15 acres dedicated to quality instruction and practice on both the short and long game.
The stunning English Manor style golf clubhouse, designed with the assistance of acclaimed Atlanta clubhouse consultant Dick Diedrich and respected clubhouse architects Richard Wengle Architects of Toronto, will rival the best clubhouses that Canada has to offer as far as quality, design and golfer amenities, including stunning terraced outdoor gardens set in a tranquil lush landscaped setting offering golfers and non-golfers great views of golf.
Canada's leading golf course construction firm Persimmons Golf (Bigwin Island, Taboo, The Rock, Copper Creek) is the project manager for the development. It is anticipated that this $30 million dollar initiative, one of the largest privately funded initiatives of this type in Canadian history, will be a major catalyst for tourism and economic benefits for the Niagara Region as a whole. The bulk of this capital budget will be allocated and committed to supporting local businesses, construction firms, and product suppliers in Niagara commented Mr. Dammizio, who is originally from Thorold, and stressed the importance of contributing to the Niagara community's prosperity.
